SPARRSO holds workshop on necessity of space tech researches

The Bangladesh Space Research and Remote Sensing Organization (SPARRSO) recently held a workshop to determine the needs of all ongoing and prospective research programmes on space technology.

Speaking at the event on Monday, SPARRSO Chairman Md Abdus Samad said the organization looks to ensure the best use of space technology in the construction of a developed and smart Bangladesh within 2041 as announced by the prime minister, reads a press statement.

He called upon the guests at the event for advice and cooperation in this regard.

The guests at the workshop emphasised on increasing mutual cooperation in the ongoing researches on space technology.

They also made various commitments for building a smart Bangladesh by opening the door to the vast potential of the space economy.

Professors from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, BRAC University and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Aviation and Aerospace University and government officials were present in the workshop.
