DIU Chairman Md Sabur Khan joins EURIE Summit

Founder and Chairman of Daffodil International University (DIU) Dr Md Sabur Khan joined the 8th Annual Eurasia Higher Education (EURIE) Summit 2023 as the chief speaker at Istanbul in Turkey.

EURIE Summit is an annual international education conference and exhibition that connects the dynamic Eurasian higher education sector of the world, according to a press statement issued on Saturday.

In his speech, Md Sabur Khan, also the founder and chief of Bangladesh and President of the Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP) focused on the need for entrepreneurship, industry-academic engagement and technology-based teaching methods in the institutions for sustainability.

The summit hosted by Eurasian Universities Union (EURAS) was held from March 1 to 3.

Amr Ezzat Salama Sumaira Rehman, secretary general of the Association of Arab Universities (AarU); Associate Prof Mustafa Aydin, founder and president of EURAS and EURIE; Turkish Airlines Chairman and Industry and Trade Minister and President of European University Association Dr Michael Murphy and distinguished guests from Turkey and other countries joined the opening ceremony.

EURIE exhibition offers effective networking, academic collaboration and business development opportunities for the participant organisations.
