Army chief inaugurates Pallabi Fire Station

Chief of Army Staff SM Shafiuddin Ahmed on Monday inaugurated the newly constructed Pallabi Fire Station at Mirpur in the capital.

Md Abdullah Al Masud Chowdhury, secretary of the Security Service Division was the special guest at the inauguration ceremony where Brigadier General Md Main Uddin, director general of Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defence was present, said a press release.

On the occasion, SM Shafiuddin also planted a tree at the premises of the Pallabi Fire Station. Later, he released balloons and cut a cake marking the inauguration.

Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defence and others for organising the event.
