Rezaul Karim joins BHTPA as MD

Additional Secretary Md Rezaul Karim has recently joined the Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority (BHTPA) as the Managing Director (MD).

A gazette notification was issued by the Public Administration Ministry on February 26 in this regard, said a press release on Monday. Before his fresh appointment, he was working as the project director of the Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre.

BHTPA officials including its Director (finance and administration) Md Tabibur Rahman (Deputy Secretary), and Director (Technical) Syed Jahurul Islam (Joint Secretary) welcomed the new MD on Monday. Md Rezaul Karim joined the government services as an Assistant Commissioner (Tax) in 1994. He also worked as Deputy Secretary in 2013, Joint Secretary in 2019 and Additional Secretary in 2022.
