Rooh Afza’s new commercial features Fazlur Rahman Babu

Popular actor Fazlur Rahman Babu has recently read out a manuscript about the concentrated squash Rooh Afza, a unique formulation prepared of time-tested natural nutritive fruits extracted by Hamdard, in an advertisement video made at Ashulia of Dhaka.

Shifa Ahmed also joined the manuscript reading directed by Amirul Momenin Manik and supported by Hamdard Laboratories WAQF Bangladesh Managing Director Dr Hakim Md Yousuf Harun Bhuiyan, said a press release.

Music composition was done by Anu Mustafiz, videography by Mahmudul Hasan, and editing and colour scheming were handled by Abu Sayed Khan under the management of AEM Borhan Uddin.

On this occasion, Fazlur Rahman Babu said “I tried to do an exceptional job. Manuscript reading is a part of Bengali traditional as well as Rooh Afza. The video tells the story of Rooh Afza’s journey based on the timeline of the British regime and the post-liberation war. Not only for advertisement but this will also contribute to reviving our traditional values and culture.”

Composer Amirul Momenin Manik said that the young generation will enjoy the advertisement as it brings back the tradition of manuscript reading.

The ‘Manuscript-reading of Rooh Afza’ will be broadcasted on TV channels and online platforms shortly.
