China-Bangladesh culture, art show held at NSU

The Confucius Institute of North South University (NSU) and the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka jointly organised a China-Bangladesh culture and art show at NSU auditorium on Sunday afternoon.

Along with a solo performance by Kunming National Song and dance theatre, a fusion of traditional Chinese and Bangladeshi culture through music and dance was presented by NSU Sangskritik Shanggothon (SS) and NSU TV and Radio students, said a press release.

Ambassador of China to Bangladesh Yao Wen and NSU Vice-Chancellor Prof Atiqul Islam were present during the cultural show while Dr Bulbul Siddiqi, director of the Confucius Institute and associate professor of the Political Science and Sociology Department made the opening remarks.
