Smart Home Expo, the country’s first international exhibition of smart home appliances and consumer electronics, is set to begin at the GEC Convention Centre in Chattogram on May 18.
For the first time in Bangladesh, a Hybrid B2B and B2C event will bring exhibitors directly from various regions like Malaysia, Korea, Japan, China, Thailand, Turkey, UAE, China, Taiwan, and India.
The focused industry sectors of the expo will be home appliances, consumer electronics, HVAC, home automation, smart energy and lighting, parking systems, and smart indoor entertainment.
The three-day event will be supported by the ASHRAE Bangladesh Chapter and Electronics Traders’ Association of Bangladesh (ETAB) with various international media partners such as Asia Pacific Security Magazine, Smart Cities Tech, ASEAN Tech and SEC, MySecurity Media and EE Times Asia. Canada and Malaysia-based organiser, Intra Exhibitions and Events along with Brilliance Expo (Bangladesh) will be co-organising the international event which will feature over 150 participating brands and companies.
Although it is an international event, prominent local companies from the nine industrial zones will also participate. Bangladesh Pavilion has limited booths available with special local rates. The exhibition will be open from 10 am to 8 pm for all.
