Md Arifur Rahman elected chairman of ICMAB Khulna branch council

Md Arifur Rahman has been elected Chairman of Khulna Branch Council (KBC) of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) for 2023.

The decision was made in the 3rd meeting of KBC presided by Former Chairman Ashok Kumar Debnath on Tuesday, said a press release.

The Council also elected Azizur Rahman as Vice Chairman, Md Habibur Rahman Sk as Secretary and KM Neamul Hoque as Treasure.

Arifur Rahman is serving as the company Secretary of Bangladesh Cable Shilpa Limited under the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology. He served in different departments of Cable Shilpa Ltd from 2004 to 2016.

Arifur Rahman obtained MCom degree from Azam Khan Govt Commerce College and MBA degree from Asian University. He is a fellow member of ICMAB.

Meanwhile, Azizur Rahman is currently working as First Assistant Vice-President (FAVP) of Eastern Bank Limited. Md Habibur Rahman is currently working as Sr Principal Officer of Ansar-VDP Unnayan Bank. KM Neamul is currently working as Sr Assistant Manager of Accounts and Admin at Power Grid Company of Bangladesh Ltd.
