ICMAB holds freshers’ orientation in Khulna

The Khulna branch of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) on Wednesday held an orientation programme for the newly admitted students of the session January-June 2023.

Ashok Kumar Debnath, chairman of Khulna Branch Council (KBC) presided over the programme where ICMAB Secretary Md Kausar Alam, Treasurer Md Akhtaruzzaman and Professor Business Administration Discipline of Khulna University SM Zahidur Rahman, were present as the special guests, said a press release.

ICMAB President Md Abdur Rahman Khan attended the event as the chief guest and congratulated the Khulna Branch Councils and the officials for organising a programme that would potentially contribute to the learning of CMA students.

The ICMAB President pleasantly addressed the gathering and shared the commitment of his council to the development of ICMAB.

At the beginning of the programme, newly elected Chairman Md Arifur Rahman and present Secretary Abdul Motaleb gave welcome speeches and a large number of students from different parts of Khulna attended.

As one of the many flagship initiatives, ICMAB initiates academic briefings at places with the need of ensuring professional guideline service for the students.

This initiative indubitably supports the development of a strong CMA profession and helps the Institute to mark its footprint in the development of Bangladesh towards world-class professionalism.
