SONY-SMART holds study tour for junior learners

SMART Technologies (BD) Limited, also known as SONY-SMART, recently organised an educational tour to boost the science and technology knowledge of the junior students of SMART Academy at Narimpur of Ramganj Upazila in Lakshmipur.

A total of 30 students participated in the educational tour and travelled from Lakshmipur to Dhaka to get introduced to modern science and technology, said a press release. During the study tour, students also travelled on metro rail from Uttara Station (Diabari) in the capital to the Agargaon area on Saturday. Before that, a school bus from Smart Academy left for Dhaka with the students. They visited BCS Computer City in IDB Bhaban in the capital and got acquainted with various information technology products.

The students also visited the head office of SONY-SMART in the afternoon and sang the national anthem with SMART Technologies officials while the Chairman of Smart Technologies (BD) Limited Mohammad Mazharul Islam, Director of SONY-SMART Md Tanvir Hossain were present. They went to the National Museum of Science and Technology after lunch and returned back in the evening.
