Standard Chartered recently received three awards for having Bangladesh’s ‘Best Mobile Banking Application’ along with ‘Digital Bank of the Year’ and the ‘Best Digital Upgrade’ award at The Asset Triple A Digital Awards 2023.
The bank has completed its transition to making the country’s first ever fully digital multinational Letter of Credit (LC) along with the first automated over-the-weekend loan disbursement. It has also played a pivotal role in creating possibilities for businesses to streamline their operations by automating cash management solutions, according to a press release issued on Tuesday.
SC Mobile Application and iBanking platform of Standard Chartered received the award for ‘Best Mobile Banking Application’ because the online portals are easy to access, with a wide range of features. The Bank’s innovative and secure Digital Trade Counter (DTC) was recognised as the ‘Best Digital Upgrade’. The service enables clients to manage and track all matters regarding the trade application process.
