Md Rahat Anwar new chairman of BPC

Md Rahat Anwar was appointed as the new chairman (Grade-1) of the Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation (BPC) on Sunday.

Before his new appointment, he was serving as the Chairman of the Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation (BJMC), reads a press release.

He also served as Additional and Joint Secretary at the Cabinet Division, Director of Bangladesh Television and Deputy Commissioner of Rangpur and Sylhet.

Md Rahat completed Honours’ and Master’ degrees from the English department of the Dhaka University.
