MetLife, Inc. has recently been named to Fortune magazine’s 2023 list of the 100 Best Companies to Work For.
The annual list, determined by “Great Place to Work” using its proprietary “For All” methodology, recognises companies that relentlessly pursue a better work experience for every employee, MetLife said in a press statement.

To determine the 2023 list, Great Place to Work surveyed and analysed feedback from over half a million employees from Great Place To Work certified companies about their organization’s culture, including key behaviors that drive trust in man-agement, connection with colleagues, and loyalty to the company.

MetLife Bangladesh is the leading international life insurer in the country serving over a million customers in Bangladesh.
In 2022, policyholders of MetLife Bangladesh received Tk 2,548 crore from their insurance policies. This amount includes the amount received from maturity and partial maturity, and claims from loss of life and medical expenses.
The life insurance company has enabled an online claims submission platform where customers can easily submit their claims forms and required documents online.
MetLife has a robust track record of a claims settlement. In the five years up to 2022, cumulatively MetLife Bangladesh has settled claims of Tk 7,550 crore.
Earlier this year, the insurance company has been recognised with the international Superbrand status for 2023-2024. This was awarded to Metlife in the life insurance category of Bangladesh.
