Md Saidul Islam new chairman of Jamuna Bank

Md Saidul Islam has been unanimously elected as Chairman of the Jamuna Bank Limited by its Board of Directors in their 422nd meeting held on April 27, 2023 for a period of one year.

Islam is a versatile new-age business person. He joined the family business of Fabian Group in 2010. Since then, he has helmed many portfolios of various companies of the said Group.

Currently, he is the Director of Fabian Industries Ltd, Fabian Thread Ltd, Fabian Multiplex Industries Ltd, Fabitex Industries Ltd and Managing Director of Frox Media Limited. He is also Chairman of Eco Advanced Construction Materials Company Ltd.

Islam was born in Comilla in 1981. He obtained a Bachelor of Science (Hon’s) from Coventry University UK. He is the eldest son of Md. Tazul Islam, honorable minister, Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives, Govern-ment of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

He has travelled widely and attended different training programs and seminars at home and abroad.
