The Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) on Wednesday signed an agreement with United International University (UIU) for strategic partnership and collaboration.
ICSB President Mohammad Asad Ullah, UIU Vice Chancellor (In-Charge) Professor Dr Md Abul Kashem Mia signed the MoU at UIU premises in Madani Avenue of Badda in Dhaka, according to a press release.
The UIU and ICSB intend to jointly cooperate in collaborative actions in good faith to work on mutual benefit for both organisations in terms of curriculum improvement, the accelerated path for UIU students who want to pursue chartered secretary courses offered by ICSB, resource development and sharing, organising workshops, seminars and conferences under certain terms and conditions as agreed upon.
Mohammad Asad Ullah thanked UIU for their involvement and expected that both organisations will be benefited and students of UIU can enrich their professional careers by enrolling in chartered secretary courses.
Professor Dr Md Abul Kashem Mia hoped that this MoU will build a strong bond between ICSB and UIU and will benefit both organisations.
Abul Fazal Mohamed Rubayat, chairman of the Education Committee of ICSB briefed about the Institute and thanked UIU for signing MoU with ICSB. He emphasised the importance of such type of initiative which will be helpful in the coming days.
Among others, M Nurul Alam, senior vice president, AKM Mushfiqur Rahman, vice president, Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun, treasurer, Mohammad Shafiqul Islam Bhuiyan, council member, Md Zakir Hossain, secretary and chief executive officer of ICSB, Md Shamibur Rahman, executive director (F&A) of ICSB, Professor Dr Mohammad Musa, dean of School of Business and Economics, Professor Dr Khandoker Mahmudur Rahman, Professor Dr Abu Saleh Md Sohel-Uz Zaman, director, Professor ASM Salahuddin, treasurer (in-charge), Dr Md Zulfiqur Rahman, registrar of UIU were also present during the programme.
