A four-member delegation of Bangladesh Food Safety Authority (BFSA), led by its chairman Md Abdul Kayowm Sarkar, visited PRAN Industrial Park at Palash in Narsingdi on Saturday.
Kamruzzaman Kamal, director (Marketing), Pran-RFL Group, welcomed the delegation at the industrial park, according to a press statement issued on Saturday.
The delegation also included Dr Sahadev Chandra Saha, director at BFSA. They visited various manufacturing units of the industrial park including beverage.
BFSA chairman expressed satisfaction to see the overall activities of the industrial park.
He said, “The steps taken by the PRAN for manufacturing products using modern technologies are praiseworthy. These kinds of Industrial parks show us how far Bangladesh’s economy is progressing.”
Kamruzzaman said, “We are using the latest manufacturing technology in our factories to serve the customers and maintain compliance in every step of the production process. Now we have production facilities in 30 different locations across the country from where we are serving around 150 crore consumers across the globe.”
SM Maruf Kabir, head of Quality Control at PRAN Group, Ibrahim Khalil, head of Business of Tasty Treat, Wing Commander (Ret) Md Siddiqur Rahman, general manager (Administration) at PRAN Industrial Park and Tanul Islam, general manager (Production) were also present during the visit.
