Fulbaria upgraded into A grade municipality

The locals of Fulbaria municipality in Mymensingh district, including its mayor Golam Kibria thanked the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as the municipality has been upgraded into A grade from B grade position, recently.

The Local Government Division (LGD) of the Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives Ministry on May 14 issued a notification signed by Deputy Secretary Farzana Mannan in this regard.

On the occasion, Golam Kibria said, Fulbari was firstly upgraded from C to B and now B to A during the regime of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

“People of Fulbari have chosen me for third time due to their persistent love for the Awami League. I have been working for the development of this area with the direction of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina”, he stated.

This fresh up-gradation will significantly contribute for developing citizen benefits in the municipality, he said.
