Bangladesh Finance donates to PM’s Education Assistance Trust

Bangladesh Finance has donated to the Prime Minister’s Education Assistance Trust as part of its corporate social responsibility.

The donation cheque was handed over to Kazi Delwar Hossain, director and additional secretary of the Prime Minister’s Educational Assistance Trust, at his office in Dhanmondi by Md Sajjadur Rahman Bhuiyan, group chief financial officer and Mohammad Kohinoor Hossain, head of Sustainable Finance & SME at Bangladesh Finance on Sunday, reads a press statement.

The ‘Trust Fund’ was established by the order of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for providing scholarships to poor and meritorious students who are deprived from education due to lack of funds.

High Officials of Bangladesh Finance expressed their satisfaction for being a proud part of this initiative. The director of the trust, Kazi Delwar Hossain also expressed his faith on Bangladesh Finance to stay by their side in the coming days.

Assistant Director of Admin department of the Prime Minister’s Educational Assistance Trust Ashraful Mamun and others were present on the occasion.
