NSU, City Bank discuss empowering students

North South University’s Career and Placement Center (CPC), in partnership with The City Bank Limited, recently organised an informative a focus group discussion for students.

The event, held at the university’s syndicate hall on Monday, was aimed at providing a platform for students to explore various aspects of career development with the guidance of industry professionals, according to a press statement.

Professor Dr Mohammad Khasro Miah, director of CPC welcomed the participants on the occasion. Mohammad Shafiul Islam, senior manager of HR MIS & Recruitment at City Bank also gave speeches during the programme.

The City Bank team, represented by Samiha Sanjana, manager of Recruitment & MIS, Lamia Tabassum Guria, assistant manager of the Recruitment Process, and Arif Al Zahin, officer of the Recruitment Process, facilitated a productive learning environment on the occasion, said the press statement.
