An anti-corruption debate competition was held at Rajuk Uttara Model College in Dhaka on Monday where students from eight educational institutions participated.
The debate competition was held under the overall direction of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) which was organised by the Dhaka Metropolitan Corruption Prevention Committee, Uttara region, said a press release.
Chairman of the Dhaka Metropolitan Corruption Prevention Committee Lieutenant Colonel M Abdul Khaleq (Retd.) presided over the programme and Principal of Rajuk Uttara Model College Brigadier General ASM Bahauddin was present as the chief guest.
Anti-Corruption Commission District Office, Dhaka-1 Assistant Director Mohammad Tajul Islam Bhuiyan, Deputy Assistant Director Mahmudul Hasan and ASI Syed Mohidul Hasan were present as special guests.
General Secretary of Metropolitan Corruption Prevention Committee Aslam Serniabat, Vice President Md Moniruzzaman and committee members Nazmul Alam, Laila Roksana, Sima Sen, and Abdul Quader also attended the event.
Rajuk Uttara Model College won the title of the champion in the competition and Dhaka Cantonment Girls College won the runner-up title.
