North South University (NSU) made a significant mark at the grand Education Expo organised by the Education Reporters Association of Bangladesh (ERAB).
The prestigious event took place at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) in the capital, attracting a multitude of public and private universities, polytechnic institutes, and various educational institutions, said a press release.
With an array of research, publications, and innovations on display, NSU showcased its academic prowess and commitment to excellence.
The day-long expo proved to be a platform for more than 60 educational institutions to highlight their latest achievements and developments. The event also featured two seminars focusing on the crucial topics of academic-industry linkage and research and PhD opportunities in private universities.
As the chief guest, Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni shared her thoughts on the advancements made by private universities in Bangladesh. Dipu Moni acknowledged the interest shown by these institutions in awarding PhD degrees and urged the University Grants Commission (UGC) to delve further into the matter.
