ULAB holds freshers’ orientation of CSE department

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) organised the Summer 2023 CSE Freshers’ Orientation to welcome the newest members of the family on the main campus in Dhaka on June 8.

Professor Dr Mohammad Kaykobad, former Professor of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) was present at the event as the chief guest, said a press release.

Professor Imran Rahman, vice chancellor of ULAB, Dean of the School of Science and Engineering Professor Mofazzal Hossain, Head (Acting) of the Department Professor Muhammad Golam Kibria, faculty members, and new students were present at the orientation programme.

In his speech, Professor Kaykobad focused on kindness and respectfulness to others. He emphasised lifelong learning as well as engagement with different co-curricular activities during their course of study to get familiarised with the real world.
