National Credit and Commerce (NCC) Bank Ltd has held its 37th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at virtual platform on Thursday.
The bank approved 16 per cent dividend (12 per cent cash + 4 per cent stock) for the year 2021, said a statement.
NCC Bank Chairman Md Abul Bashar presided over the meeting while Vice Chairman Tanzina Ali, Director Md Abdul Awal, Director Abdus Salam, Risk Management Committee Chairman Alhaj Md Nurun Newaz, Director Sohela Hossain, Director Amjadul Ferdous Chowdhury, Executive Committee Chairman SM Abu Mohsin, Director Khairul Alam Chaklader, Director Mohammed Sazzad Un Newaz, Independent Director Itrat Husain, Independent Director and Audit Committee Chairman Nurul Islam Chowdhury, Managing Director and CEO Mohammad Mamdudur Rashid, and Company Secretary Md Monirul Alam along with a large number of shareholders joined the AGM virtually.
The Audited Financial Statements of the Bank for the year ended on December 31, 2021 along with the Auditors’ report thereon and Directors' report were placed before the shareholders at the AGM and were duly approved by them with majority votes.
The chairman of the bank highlighted the business progress and said that while the shareholders' equity, total Assets, EPS are increasing gradually, the Cost of Fund and Net Classified loans are decreasing, which reflects in Credit Ratings and also in CAMELS Rating of the Bank.
