Shadhin Wi-Fi, one of the largest internet networks in Bangladesh that provides freelancer-friendly broadband package services to create freelancers in village areas, recently launched an app to broaden its coverage.
Post and Telecoms Minister Mustafa Jabbar inaugurated the app on Friday at the Digital Bangladesh Mela 2023 at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center.
The minister promised full-fledged support for its development as it aims to bring easier internet services in the rural area.
Md Mahbub-ul-Alam, additional secretary of the Post and Telecommunication Divison and convener of the Digital Bangladesh Mela Committee, and Sahdhin Wi-Fi CEO Mobarak Hossain was present at the launching ceremony.
Shadhin Wi-Fi officials said the app is offering unlimited internet package, as an alternative to mobile internet, for people living in the village at only Tk 155.
Users can avail the service from anywhere by registering at the app. At present, the service is available in Bandarban city, Sunamganj, Muktagacha of Mymensigh, Jhikrgacha of Jessore, and Rangpur.
