This initial batch of relief supplies will benefit 2,000 people. In the coming week, the relief donations will continue, providing food and supplies to a total of 6,000 people.

Notably, to convey warmth to the disaster victims, the Chinese Embassy specially prepared the food according to local dietary habits and distributed it while still hot, aiming to provide comfort and support to those in need.

As the floodwaters recede and displaced residents gradually return to their homes, the Embassy plans to distribute food packages and other supplies to 1,300 households (approximately 5,200 people) to help them rebuild their homes.

Each food package contains 25 kilograms of rice, 2 liters of cooking oil, 2 kilograms of lentils, 2 packets of sugar, 1 packet of salt, and 2 kilograms of flour. The total value of the relief project is 6 million Bangladeshi Taka.

During the relief donation event, Minister Counselor Liu Yuyin stated, "As Bangladesh faces this sudden flooding, the Chinese people feel deeply for the victims and hope to offer their modest assistance to help the people of Bangladesh overcome this difficult time as soon as possible.

"We are confident that, with the joint efforts of the interim government and the people of Bangladesh, the country will overcome the current difficulties and rebuild a better home."

This donation not only provides strong support for Bangladesh's flood relief efforts but also represents another instance of cooperation between the peoples of China and Bangladesh under the spirit of friendship and mutual assistance.
