Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov on Thursday congratulated Touhid Hossain on his recent appointment as the foreign affairs adviser to the interim government.
In a message, Lavrov said, "I was glad to learn about Touhid Hossain’s appointment to the post of the Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.”
“The Russia-Bangladesh relations are based on the solid foundation of friendship, traditionally binding the peoples of our countries.
“We look forward to the continuation of productive interaction with the foreign office of Bangladesh for the benefit of further strengthening the bilateral cooperation in all areas.” He said.
“I wish you sound health and success at your responsible post,” Lavrov added in his message.
