The interim government of Bangladesh has appointed Lutfe Siddiqui as the chief adviser’s envoy on international affairs.
A circular issued on Wednesday, and signed by Cabinet Division Secretary Md Mahbub Hossain, further mentions that Siddiqui – during his tenure as the chief adviser’s envoy on international affairs – will receive salary, allowance, and other benefits similar to an adviser position.
This order came into effect immediately.
