Twelve Economic Reporters received ERF-bKash Best Reporting Award 2022 on Tuesday.
Planning Minister MA Mannan formally handed over the awards to the winners at a ceremony held at the Krishibid Institution Bangladesh (KIB) in the capital's Khamarbari area.
Each of the winners received a crest and a cheque of Tk 1 lakh for their exemplary reporting in different categories.
The Economic Reporters Forum (ERF) and country's leading MFS operator bKash jointly organised the award ceremony.
The awardees are– Doulot Akter Mala (Macro Economy-Print), Md Hasanul Alam Shaon (Macro Economy-TV), Md Shah Alam Khan (Macro Economy-Online), Fakhrul Islam Harun (Capital Market-Print and Online), and Alamgir Hossain (Capital Market-TV).
Shanaullah Sakib Tanu and Mousumi Islam (Bank & Insurance-Print and Online), Babu Kamruzzaman (Bank & Insurance-TV), Arifur Rahman (Investigative Reporting-Print, Online and TV), and Mohammad Jahangir Shah Kajol (Revenue- Print, Online and TV) were also awarded.
Also among the awardees were– Mohammad Jahangir Shah Kajol and Shovongkor Karmakar (Private Sector-Print, Online and TV), Md Shofiqul Islam (International Trade and Remittance- Print, Online and TV), and Shanaullah Sakib Tanu (Agro Economy- Print, Online and TV).
