Nine Bangladeshi fabrics and garment manufacturers are now taking part in a 3-day international apparel exposition in Paris to highlight and display various fashion products.
The three-day international fashion exposition – Texworld/ApparelSourcing/Leatherworld Paris 2022 – began on February 7, said a press release on Tuesday.
The companies are Momtex Expo, Pioneer Denim Limited, BS Fashion, Deshbandhu Textile Mills, Fifth Alliance, Gimex Clothing, Sara Fashionwear, The Rose Garments Designs, and Nobabee Footwear.
The nine companies are participating in the expo with assistance from the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB).
“This is one of the biggest fashion sourcing fairs in Europe. Hopefully, there would be greater participation from Bangladesh in the upcoming July edition of the exhibition,” Commercial Counsellor of Bangladesh in Paris Dilara Begum, said.
Pioneer Denim Head of Marketing Mohammad Hasibul Huda said, “It has been a wonderful opportunity to be a part of Texworld Paris show representing Pioneer Denim Limited. The customer response is overwhelming and we are looking forward to the show to explore more opportunities.”
“It’s an amazing platform to showcase our latest trends and capabilities to world-class buyers, designers and all stakeholders. Also got an opportunity to understand other stakeholders’ views and expectations. We are looking forward to attending the next event,” Momtex Expo and Home Fashion CEO Amir Ramzan Chaudhry said.
The next Texworld/Apparel Sourcing/Leather World Paris will also be held from July 4 to 6 this year and Texworld/Apparel Sourcing USA from July 19 to 21 in the same year.
