The Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party (BAVDP) has secured first place in the implementation of the Annual Performance Agreement (APA), conducted by the Public Security Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs, for the fiscal year 2022-23.
This is the first time the BAVDP has achieved this top position since the introduction of the APA in the fiscal year 2014-15, according to a press release.
Certificates and crests were handed over to BAVDP Director General Major General AKM Aminul Haque by home minister Asaduzzaman Khan at an event held at the conference room of the ministry on Sunday.
The event included the signing of the APA for the fiscal year 2024-25, the evaluation of the APA for the fiscal year 2022-23, and the Integrity Award ceremony for the fiscal year 2023-24, added the release.
Major General AKM Aminul Haque expressed his gratitude to all officers and employees of the force for their contributions, which led to this achievement.
He encouraged everyone to continue working with honesty, dedication, and sincerity, and to adopt a more professional attitude. He urged all members of the force to work collectively towards building a developed, prosperous, and smart Bangladesh by implementing Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's Vision 2041.
