Bangladesh Finance – a non-bank financial institution – has distributed cattle and vans amid the ultra-poor residing in remote areas of Magura, as part of the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts aimed at building a self-reliant country.

The firm’s Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Md Kyser Hamid distributed the aid personally on Tuesday, read a press release.

He further said, “Bangladesh Finance – under the title Self-Reliant Now – has begun a campaign from Magura, which will later be expanded to every corner of the country. The company wants to participate in the process of building a sustainable development economy.

Magura Awami League President AFM Abdul Fattah, Kasundi Union Parishad Chairman Mollah Abul Kashem, Head of Sustainable Finance at Bangladesh Finance Md Kohinoor Hossain, municipality commissioner, and UP members attended the event among many others.

Local educationist Abdur Rashid Biswas presided over the programme.
