The Bangladesh team triumphed on the global stage, winning the prestigious Gold Medal in SDG 6 at the Global Teen Entrepreneurship Competition held at Sola University in Tokyo, Japan recently. Competing against teams from 35 countries, the Bangladesh team's exceptional innovation and entrepreneurial spirit earned them top honours, according to a press release.

The team, represented by Wa si-uz-Zaman Khan, was selected through a rigorous nationwide competition organised by the Students for the Advancement of Global Entrepreneurship (SAGE) Bangladesh team.

The selection process was overseen by a distinguished jury board headed by Mohammed Alauddin, Hubert H Humphrey Fellow, who played a crucial role in mentoring and guiding the team to reach them at the world stage and succeed.

The teen entrepreneur's team was managed by Mahira Mamun, SAGE Bangladesh coach, who has had a track record of selecting and managing winning SAGE Bangladesh teams since 2020. It was informed that this year SAGE Bangladesh with the support of the Ella Pad reached over 10,000 teenagers across the country to seek out their innovative business ideas.

SAGE Bangladesh, coordinated by Mamunur Rahman of Ella Pad, has been instrumental in fostering young entrepreneurial talent across the country. The victory in Tokyo is a testament to the hard work, creativity, and dedication of the young minds representing Bangladesh.

This remarkable achievement not only highlights the potential of Bangladesh's youth in the global entrepreneurship arena but also serves as an inspiration for future innovators. The victory marks a significant milestone in the country's journey toward nurturing and empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs.
