BASM, SRIC arrange 3-day training program on compliance affairs

Bangladesh Academy for Securities Market (BASM) and (SRIC) a department of Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) have successfully inaugurated a three-day training program on the compliance affairs of listed companies.

With 45 participants from various listed companies, including MDs, CEOs, CFOs, and Company secretaries, the event began on Saturday and is set to continue till Monday, according to a press release.

BSEC Commissioner Shaikh Shamsuddin Ahmed inaugurated the event, setting the tone for an enriching exchange of knowledge and insights throughout the program. BSEC Executive Director Md Saifur Rahman also underscored the program's significance in his address.

The distinguished attendees are set to delve into crucial compliance issues faced by listed companies, aiming to bridge knowledge gaps and stay updated on regulatory changes.

Renowned officials from BSEC, Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), Central Depository Bangladesh Limited (CDBL), and Capital Market Stabilization Fund  (CMSF) will serve as resource persons, sharing their expertise with the eager participants throughout the training sessions.

The training initiative seeks to empower participants with the latest compliance updates, addressing the unique challenges faced by listed companies dealing with public funds.

The collaborative effort reflects the commitment of BASM and BSEC to enhancing industry knowledge and fostering compliance excellence.
