Chairman of Bangladesh Internet Governance Forum (BIGF) Hasanul Haque Inu has congratulated Mohiuddin Ahmed, the newly appointed chairman of the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) in a courtesy meeting.
Mohiuddin Ahmed said apart from BIGF, BTRC has been providing all kinds of cooperation in the development of Internet governance management since 2009. It will continue in the future.
BIGF Executive Committee Vice Chairperson AHM Bazlur Rahman and Secretary General Mohammad Abdul Haque Anu were present during the courtesy meeting.
Director General of the Systems and Services Department of BTRC Brig Gen Mohammad Khalil-ur-Rahman and Director General of Engineering and Operations Department Brig Gen Kazi Mustafizur Rahman participated in the discussion.
During the courtesy meeting, the newly appointed BTRC chairman requested to include in an action plan for the next year, preparation for participation in national, regional, and international meetings of Internet Literacy, Summit of the Future, Global Digital Compact, dot Bangla, and Internet Governance Forum.
