BMCCI holds 6th LegalTalk seminar on Saturday

The Bangladesh-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry organised the 6th LegalTalk seminar on legal issues of doing business in Bangladesh on Saturday.

“This seminar is organized for those who want to understand the law that correspondence with doing business in our country for home or abroad investors,” BMCCI’s Senior Vice President Shabbir Ahmed Khan said at the seminar organised at the BMCCI secretariat in Dhaka.

Renowned Barrister Nihad Kabir, Senior Partner, Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed and Associates elaborated on the topics at the seminar.

In his discussion, Barrister Nihad Kabir clearly mentioned how our business environment came over so well despite the bitter past in policy and overall business situation.

At the same time, other companies that have invested in Bangladesh are dissuaded by their past bitter experiences. As the laws concerning trade and business in our country conflict with each other, businessmen are discouraged because they cannot easily get their profits.

She also discussed various guidelines on several policies that make business easier in our country.

The participants get to know about the competition act, dispute resolution, and other issues like company law, Foreign Exchange Regulations, and technical know-how which is relatable to doing business in Bangladesh.

At the end of the program, Secretary General Md Motaher Hoshan Khan gave the ending remarks, and Barrister Nihad Kabir distributed the certificates among the participants for their active participation in the seminar.
