BRAC Bank awarded best ‘Cash Management and Transaction Bank’

BRAC Bank has been awarded the prestigious “The Asian Banker Transaction Finance Award 2022” in two categories, “The Best Transaction Bank” and “The Best Cash Management Bank” in Bangladesh.

The Transaction Finance Awards 2022 was formally announced through a virtual award presentation ceremony on Wednesday in the presence of The Asian Banker President and Managing Editor Foo Boon Ping, read a press release.

BRAC Bank Deputy Managing Director and Head of Corporate Banking Tareq Refat Ullah Khan received the award in the virtual programme. 

In the award citation, The Asian Banker praised BRAC Bank’s dynamic and world-class Cash Management and Transaction Banking architecture, particularly the bank’s capabilities to offer client-centric Cash Management solutions, Trade products, digitisation of transactions and maximum API connectivity with key service providers.  

On winning the accolade, BRAC Bank Managing Director and CEO Selim R F Hussain said, “Over the last couple of years, BRAC Bank has enhanced its Transaction Banking capabilities by developing various value-added services, straight-through transaction, innovation of client-centric solutions and diversified trade products offerings capabilities.”

The Asian Banker Transaction Finance Award is one of the most prestigious annual awards recognising leadership in cash management, trade finance, supply chain finance and payments amongst domestic and international financial institutions in the Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa.
