CEMS-Global USA, CCPIT-TEX organise int'l exhibition

CEMS-Global USA and CCPIT-TEX are organising a four-day international exhibition from March 1-4.

The events titled "19th Dhaka International Yarn and Fabric Show 2023 - Winter Edition" concurrently with "5th Dhaka International Denim Show 2023" will be held at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka.

A news conference was held to mark the event on Sunday at Gulshan’s All Community Club Limited.

“After the Covid-19 pandemic, in 2022, we were able to successfully organise other important exhibitions, including the "Textech Bangladesh International Expo," and received a great response from businessmen and entrepreneurs from the Textile & RMG sector of the country,” President and Managing Director of CEMS Global Meherun N Islam said,

She added that they will hold the first exhibitions of the year 2023 - the "19th Dhaka International Yarn and Fabric Show 2023 - Winter Edition" and the "5th Dhaka International Denim Show 2023".

The chief guest at the expo inauguration ceremony will be Ministry of Textiles and Jute MPs Golam Dastagir Gazi and Bir Protik.

CCPIT-TEX, which had been established in 1988, is under the leadership of China National Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC). CCPIT-TEX has gained the global reputation for its professionalism and excellent networking in the industry.

The event will mark the 5th anniversary of joint endeavours between CEMS-Global & CCPIT- TEX to promote textiles in Bangladesh which is extremely helpful in the growth of RMG exports from Bangladesh.

CEMS Global Executive Director Tanveer Qamrul Islam, and CEMS Global Director (International Marketing) Abhishek Das, were also, present at the press conference.

The exhibition is one of the largest gatherings of manufacturers, buyers, and suppliers of yarn, fabric, denim and accessories in Bangladesh.

More than 350 companies from 12 countries are represented in this exhibition with more than 500 booths.

It will be a one-stop platform to showcase new designs, latest trends and cutting-edge technological advancements available in Textiles for the benefit of the entire RMG industry of Bangladesh.

The visitors from the textile and RMG industry will be appraised of the latest developments and technology available enabling Bangladesh to further compete in the highly competitive apparel-sourcing world market.
