The 28th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Dhaka Bank Ltd was held on Sunday in the form of a video conference as per the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) directives at the bank's head office.

Abdul Hai Sarker, chairman of the Board of Directors of the bank, presided over the meeting. Company Secretary of the bank Md Shahjahan Miah and a good number of shareholders also tuned in to the digital platform for attending the event, read a press release.

Besides, Vice-Chairman Amanullah Sarker, Founding Vice-Chairman ATM Hayatuzzaman Khan, directors Reshadur Rahman, Altaf Hossain Sarker, Mohammed Hanif, Amir Ullah, Tahidul Hossain Chowdhury, Abdullah Al Ahsan, Mirza Yasser Abbas, Amanullah Sarker, Jashim Uddin, Rokshana Zaman, Manoara Khandaker, Rakhi Das Gupta and independent directors Ahbab Ahmed, Feroz Ahmed, Mohammad Ali Taslim, and Managing Director and CEO Emranul Huq were also present.

Cash dividends of 6 per cent and stock dividends of 6 per cent were approved in the meeting for the year 2022.

Besides, the shareholders expressed their valuable opinions on the Audited Financial Statements for the year ended on December 31, 2022, and regarding the activities of the bank.
