FSA, BFTI sign MoU to strengthen co-op

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Foreign Service Academy (FSA) and Bangladesh Foreign Trade Institute (BFTI) has been signed at FSA to promote and strengthen effective cooperation in the field of training and exchange of facilities between the two organisations.

Rector of FSA Mashfee Binte Shams, BFTI Chief Executive Officer Md Jafar Uddin, Ministry of Commerce Additional Secretary Mohammad Navid Safiullah, and Director General, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr Faiyaz Murshid Kazi,  spoke at the event, read a press release.

Mohammad Navid Safiullah stated that the MoU will promote and leverage effective cooperation when it comes to training and exchange of facilities between the two entities.

Economic Diplomacy is of paramount importance in today’s ever-changing global scenario powered by disruptive technologies and fierce competition. Through this collaboration, the diplomats and civil servants will be imparted with state of the art training that will in turn enable them to be future ready to embrace the challenges of the 4IR and contribute immensely towards realization of Smart Bangladesh by 2041.
