Grameenphone, SM group team up for ICT support

Grameenphone, SM group team up for ICT support

Grameenphone has signed a corporate agreement with SM Group of Companies, renowned RMG sector conglomerate in Bangladesh, to provide seamless connectivity support and wide array of ICT products and services.

The signing took place at GP House in Dhaka, a press release said on Tuesday.

Grameenphone CBO Dr Asif Naimur Rashid, CHRO Syed Tanvir Hussain, Managing Director Syed Mohammed, and CFO SM Group Syed Mustaque Ahmed were present at the event.

The agreement came as a result of amiable understanding and sharing of mutual interests as industry leaders for both Grameenphone and SM Group.

SM Group chose Grameenphone as their sole telecom partner in regards of the mobile operator’s network strength, tech innovations and dedicated service -capacity.

Discussions on future prospects also took place during the event, as both the organizations appreciated each other’s roles in the business ecosystem and explored avenues for future ICT penetrations.

Segment Head M Shaon Azad, Head of Large Accounts 2 Arifur Rahman, Key Account Manager Prama Pratim, Key Account Manager Montasher Uddin, Specialist Sohel Rana, Network Team from Grameenphone and Managing Director Syed Mohammed, CFO Syed Mustaque Ahmed, GM AKM Anwarul Haque, and Manager SM Group Fakir Abdullah Al Shahid, were also present during the signing.
