The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) has signed MoU with Dhaka Commerce College to set up ICMAB Mirpur Study Center.
The MoU has been signed for the aspiring professional accountants so that they can easily access the programme and help the country in industrialization in future, said a press release on Wednesday.
Under the said deal, Dhaka Commerce College intends to cooperate with ICMAB Mirpur to establish an ICMAB Study Center to operate on its premises.
ICMAB President Professor Mamunur Rashid FCMA, and the Dhaka Commerce College Principal Abu Masud, signed the MoU for their respective institutions.
ICMAB Dhaka Branch Council former Chairman AKM Zakaria Hossain FCMA, ICMAB Academic Affairs Division Director Prof Mohammad Zakaria Masud FCMA, and Governing Body members Professor Abu Saleh and Shamsul Huda FCA, Vice Principal Professor Wali Ullah of the Dhaka Commerce College were present among others.
The student admission process in the newly established study centre at Mirpur will start soon. In future, the centre will be developed as a Professional Centre of Excellence in the respective area to promote business and economy.
