Howlader Maria & Co (HmAC) and the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) are jointly organising a networking event on Wednesday, with the goal to connect local businesses with global ones to boost bilateral growth and opportunities.
A delegation from Singapore will attend the programme, scheduled to take place at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon in the capital at around 11:30am, where the local business community will get chances to share ideas and exchange views on bilateral business issues.
“The participants from Bangladesh and Singapore will get a good chance to share business prospects and investment scopes in both countries,” Maria Howlader, CEO and founder of Howlader Maria & Co said.
The Singapore delegation, comprised of 27 companies, will share their investment plans and will try to find out business opportunities in different sectors such as IT, agriculture, construction etc.
At the event, they will learn the risk factor of business investments, can acquire or merge businesses in the country, and explore where new opportunities to invest lie.
“Local companies can also make a business pitch to attract investments if they want. They can opt for joint venture business initiatives as well as global expansion. They can also forge connections with other concerns of these companies from the Singapore delegation,” she said.
