Islami Bank Bangladesh has been awarded as the highest taxpayer in the banking sector for the fiscal year 2022-23.
Senior Secretary of Finance Ministry and Chairman of National Board of Revenue Abu Hena Md Rahmatul Muneem handed over the crest and certificate to Managing Director & CEO of Islami Bank Mohammed Monirul Moula and Deputy Managing Director Md Akiz Uddin at the National Tax Card & Best Taxpayer Award-2023 ceremony held at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center on Wednesday, read a press release.
Secretary of Finance Division Dr Md Khairuzzaman Mozumder, Member of National Board of Revenue Syed Mohammad Abu Daud, Senior Vice President & CFO of Islami Bank Md Farid Uddin, along with top executives and officials from Ministry of Finance, National Board of Revenue & other organisations, were present at the occasion.
