GPH and Crown Cement Group Chairman Mohammed Jahangir Alam has been re-elected as the president of Gulshan Joggers Society while Khorshed Alam Khosru has been elected as the general secretary.
Their election was confirmed at the society’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on Saturday with Mohd Noor Ali, chief advisor of the society and the managing director of Unique Group and Post Media Ltd, attending as the chief guest.

At the end of the meeting, the election’s Chief Election Commissioner and Freedom Fighter Ghulam Mustafa announced the newly elected executive council members for 2024-25.
The other members are Vice Presidents Abul Bashar Sikder and Mojibur Rahman Mridha; Joint General Secretaries Mahmud Riaz Hasan Khan (Tuhin) and AZM Fazle Rabbi Khan; Treasurer Engineer Md Nurul Amin (Channa), Organising Secretary Abul Hasnat Khan Nasim, Women's Affairs Secretary Aklima Rahman, Office Secretary Dr SM Jahangir Alam, Health and Cultural Secretary Dr Md Lokman Hossain, Information, Public Relations and Publication Secretary Jasmine Ashraf, law Secretary AKM Mahfuzur Rahman (jalil), Sports and Social Welfare Secretary M Safiuddin Ahmed; Executive Members Shireen Begum, RM Darain Parvez, Asma Kamal, Md Shahidul Islam (Shahid), Abdul Malek, Umme Kulsum and Md Ashraf Hossain (Tinku).
