JCI Dhaka Dynamic aids training of 21 visually impaired persons

JCI Dhaka Dynamic and Blind Education and Rehabilitation Development Organisation (BERDO) have jointly organised training for 21 visually impaired persons, to help them get ready for professional environment, team work, following instructions and taking responsibility.

This initiative is part of the second phase of “Project Enable,” and supported by Techfie Solution, Pier Partner and BERDO. This project is residential, and has food and lodging facilities for participants. The first phase was supported by Far Ceramics.

Experienced trainers from Pier Partner will start the training process from this month. After the training, employment opportunities will be provided to participants based on their skill levels.

At the inauguration ceremony, JCI Dhaka Dynamic 2023 local Executive Vice President and Far Ceramics Director Imtiaz Uddin said, “This project has been launched in a bid to include disabled persons into the workforce.”

JCI Asia Pacific Vice President Marii Kitamura spoke and BERDO Executive Director Saidul Haque addressed the event as special guests.
