Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and the Ministry of Public Administration (MoPA) co-hosted a knowledge sharing seminar aimed at disseminating training knowledge on the public organisation management system.

The seminar aimed to foster a robust exchange of insights, strategies, and best practices to further strengthen the technology orientation of the participants in effectively managing government organisations.

Under KOICA’s CIAT program, 19 mid and high level MoPA officials gracefully completed a ten-day comprehensive training conducted by Korean experts via online modality.

Five officials who participated in the training programme shared their dynamic insights on the implementation of efficient government organizational structures, effective decision-making processes in government institutions, innovation, and technology integration for improved governance.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms Kang, Hyun Suh, deputy country director of KOICA Bangladesh Office said, “As you return to your roles, I encourage you to apply the gained insights in strategic planning and organizational development.

“The impact extends beyond individuals – it strengthens public administration of Bangladesh.”

Dr M Ziaul Haque, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration particularly thanked KOICA’s technology driven contribution in developing the human resources infrastructure in Bangladesh aligned with the Vision-2041 envisioned by the Government of Bangladesh and underlined the importance of exchange of knowledge and experiences among participants in furthering the mutual goals of effective governance.

As a government aid agency of the Republic of Korea under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, KOICA has been implementing Korea's grant aid and technical cooperation to support socio-economic development in Bangladesh since 1993.

Every year, under CIAT Program, KOICA awards invitational trainings and scholarships to Bangladesh government officials to attend short courses, pursue PhD and Master's degrees at top Korean universities.
