Korean envoy inaugurates language centre at Canadian University of Bangladesh

The "Center for International Language and Culture" has been inaugurated Thursday at Canadian University of Bangladesh.

With the title of "Bridging Borders and Building Bonds: The Transformative Power of International Language and Culture", Ambassador Park Young-Sik, Embassy of the Republic of Korea inaugurates the centre at the university auditorium, read a press release.

The Korean envoy delivered inaugural address. He expressed his appreciation to open more opportunities and build a strong relationship between two countries through the language and cultural centre.

Chairman, BoT of Canadian University of Bangladesh, Chowdhury Nafeez Sarafat gave keynote speech, expressing his deepest gratitude to the ambassador. He denoted the significance of fostering connections that transcend geographical and cultural barriers.

According to him, we not only bridge the borders but build bonds that endure and inspire generations to come.

Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Bangladesh’s Head of Economic Affairs and Public Diplomacy Youngmin Seo, Chief Advisor (BoT) to CUB Professor Muhammad Ziaulhaq Mamun, PhD, Senior Advisor (BoT) to CUB Professor Md Ridhwanul Haq participated and attended the inauguration ceremony.

Pro-Vice Chancellor (Acting Vice Chancellor) Prof Gias U Ahsan presided over the session.
