Milestone College held a reception programme for the meritorious students who obtained GPA-5 in the 2024 SSC examination from the college on Saturday.
The event, held at the Kamaluddin Seminar Hall of Milestone College’s permanent campus located in Diabari, was hosted by the college’s English Club.
Milestone School and College Adviser Colonel Nurun Nabi (retd) was present as the event’s chief guest while Principal Mohammad Ziaul Alam was present as the special guest, according to a press release issued on Sunday.
Milestone School (Uttara sector-4 campus) Principal Md Nurur Rahman and Senior Director (administration) Md Masud Alam were present as the guests of honour.
The vice-principals, directors and teachers of the college participated in the felicitation ceremony of meritorious students as Nurun Nabi and Ziaul Alam handed over crests to the students of Milestone College.
A total of 1,750 students, from both Bangla medium and English version, participated in the SSC exam from Milestone College. The pass rate is a 100 per cent and some 1,298 students obtained GPA-5 in 2024.
