Managing Director of Chashi Cold Storage (Pvt) Ltd Mostafa Azad Chowdhury Babu has been elected as the president of Bangladesh Cold Storage Association (BSCA).
BSCA issued a notification announcing Mostafa Azad Chowdhury Babu as the president of the organisation on Monday.
Meanwhile, Managing Director of Himadri Limited Ishtiaq Ahmed was elected as the senior vice-president and Managing Director of Five Star Ice and Cold Storage (Pvt) Ltd Mohammad Yunus as the vice president.
The election of Bangladesh Cold Storage Association’s executive council was held on Saturday where the panel of Mustafa Azad Chowdhury Babu and Mohammad Yunus won unopposed.
The new leadership is giving special importance to the modernisation of cold storage facilities across the country to improve the storage and supply system of agricultural products.
