The Rotary Club of Gulshan ONE has assisted in setting up a multimedia classroom at Shahid Abul Kashem Mohabidyalay in Lalmonirhat.
The classroom equipped with modern educational materials was inaugurated by Rotarian Mohammad Hemayet Uddin Talukder, the club’s charter secretary and president nominee, on Friday. Acting principal of the institution ABM Faruk Siddiki presided over the programme, read a press release.
After the inaugural function, a discussion was held to prevent the misuse of technology.
Local dignitaries, teachers, students and managing committee members of the educational institution along with the officials of the rotary club attended the event.
Meanwhile, the club has provided books to the college library as part of helping with underprivileged students’ education.
